As Head of Consulting - Americas, Lynn is focused on guiding the CRU Consulting team to bring exceptional insight into strategic questions to companies with interests in the mining, metals and fertilizer related industries throughout North and South America.

Lynn is focused on working with customers to develop and execute projects related to important and strategic issues such as market analysis, strategy development, risk assessment, as well as valuation services and negotiation support. She has worked for over 25 years with domestic as well as international manufacturers (primarily in the metals and mining industries) determining strategic growth opportunities as well as on issues such as market assessment/forecasting, capital investment plans, marketing and competitive strategy.

Lynn holds a BSBA and a Certificate in International Business from Duquesne University.

Josh Spoores joined CRU in 2012 as Principal Analyst and editor of CRU’s Steel Sheet Monitor and Steel Sheet Market Outlook. During that time, Mr. Spoores forecast prices, demand, production and trade of sheet and plate products for both Canada and the US. Today, he heads up steel analysis and forecasting for the wider Americas region. Prior to joining CRU, he was a Senior Marketing Analyst at Severstal North America, founder of Steel Reality, a forward-looking market analysis firm using a models-based approach for flat rolled and plate steel. He was also the Market Research Manager at Majestic Steel USA, one of the largest flat rolled service centres in the USA. He has a BSc in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.

Chris Weld is a partner in Wiley’s International Trade Group, with expertise in metals and raw materials.

Chris has a thriving practice at the forefront of international trade law and policy matters, including antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, global trade policy and trade negotiations, customs enforcement matters, and domestic preference laws.

As a former Capitol Hill staffer for trade and foreign policy issues, Chris seamlessly blends trade law, policy, and government relations work.

Mr. Karl Liu, The founder and Director of Sino-Minemet International Co Ltd and www.ferro-alloys.com in 2005. And also the founder and Secretary of China Cored wire Association since 2018.

Mr Karl Liu got EMBA degree from CEIBS, and Marketing Digital Strategic Training in North West University in USA and he has over 30 years international Trade Experience in Ferroalloys, Ores and Metals sectors.  He has presented several speeches on  Ferroalloys market in different Ferroalloys Intl Conferences in Hong kong, Prague and US .

Clare Hanna joined CRU in August 2019 and currently works as a Senior Analyst covering Manganese Ore and Ferroalloys and is Editor of the Bulk Ferroalloys Monitor.

Ms Hanna has over 30 years’ experience in the steel industry with British Steel, Tata Steel and Corus in a range of strategy, sales, marketing and procurement roles. Recent responsibilities include business development for wire rod and, prior to that,  lead buyer ferroalloys for Tata Steel Group.

She holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and BA Honours degree in Economics from Leeds University.

Martin Trouilloud joined CRU in November 2023 as Manganese Ferroalloy Cost Service Analyst, based in their London office. He graduated in 2023 with a BS in physics and mathematics from Brown University, where he was a research assistant in a computational chemistry lab. Besides ferroalloys, he has worked on manganese ore and crude steel.

Divya Reddy-Shah is an accomplished business leader with 20 years of global experience in the FMCG industry — building billion-dollar brands, business transformation, digital marketing and management oversight of over 250 end-to-end innovations.

She currently serves as the Managing Director of her family-owned enterprise, Champion Minerals, a leading player in ferro alloys in Central Africa.

Previously, Reddy-Shah was the General Manager of L’Oreal Paris in India, Global Vice President of Maybelline and top dermatological brands as part of the L’Oreal USA ManCom. Her experience also spans leadership roles at Unilever and Avon.

Reddy-Shah earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MSc from London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from New York University.

Reddy-Shah serves on the US Board of Yuva Unstoppable, which has transformed 5,000 impoverished schools, impacting the lives of millions of underprivileged children, and granted 3,000 scholarships. She has also led several award-winning women empowerment campaigns.

Biagio Olivieri joined CRU in 2022 and currently works as a Senior Analyst covering Chrome and Stainless Steel markets. He is the editor of the Chrome Monitor and Chrome Market Outlook. Having also led CRU’s Stainless Steel Market Outlook for the past three years, Mr Olivieri brings leadership and deep expertise across the broader stainless value chain.

At CRU, his responsibilities include forecasting global prices, demand, production, and trade for steel and ferroalloys, offering insights that combine rigorous market analysis with an understanding of policy and industry dynamics.

Before joining CRU, Mr Olivieri worked as an industry analyst at a market research company, where he led research across sectors spanning mining, manufacturing, and financial services. He holds an MSc in Economics with Distinction from Queen Mary University of London and a First Class Honours BA in Economics and Politics from the University of York. He is based in CRU’s London office.

Ionut has worked for CRU since 2007 and is the company’s lead consultant on strategic advisory projects across the commodity spectrum. His remit includes market entry, diversification and M&A support; the formulation of decarbonisation strategies; and supply chain security with a focus on raw material criticality.

His recent projects include an M&A strategy for a mid-tier mining company,  assignments focused on aluminium value enhancement, secondary and low-carbon premia, and multiple studies in the field of elemental carbon.

Ionut brings to the role a wealth of advisory experience gained in important regional commodity markets. As a regional director for business development in East Asia, he established CRU's Tokyo office and provided strategic support to Japanese trading houses and Korean industrial entities. More recently, as CRU's head representative in India, Middle East and Africa, he oversaw important strategic assignments for MENA aluminium and fertilizer complexes, government agencies, sovereign funds and South African mining companies.

Mr. Tang Min is a seasoned executive with over a decade of experience in the renewable energy and commodity trading sectors. Currently serving as the Director of International Business Unit at Rongke Power Group, a global leading innovator in Vanadium Redox Flow Battery energy storage system. Tang Min oversees the company's global strategy, business model development, and market expansion efforts.

Throughout his career, Tang Min has held key leadership positions, including managing commodity trade operations with a transaction volume of approximately 1.5 billion dollars per year. He has also played a pivotal role in establishing green finance initiatives and projects, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable development.

Tang Min's professional journey includes significant international experience, having worked with major corporations such as Saudi Aramco, Siemens Energy and Trina Solar on collaborative projects. His strategic vision and strong execution have enabled him to successfully establish global distribution network for RKP, including branches in Australia, Germany, and the UAE.

Tang Min is committed to driving sustainable development through the integration of advanced technology and creative business strategies. His ability to adapt to diverse business environments and his proficiency in developing innovative business models make him a valuable contributor to the industry.

Gustavo has over 20 years of extensive experience in the mining and metals industry, with a specialized focus on the niobium market. His tenure includes significant leadership roles within CBMM, the world’s foremost producer of niobium products, where he spearheaded operations across Europe and Asia. Gustavo’s strategic leadership in these regions contributed to remarkable growth, enhancing annual revenues and profitability.

An expert in the niobium market and related metals, Gustavo has influenced strategic decisions at the highest levels, advising on niobium supply stability for the European Commission and engaging in critical discussions on sustainability, carbon neutrality and circularity. He also serves as an advisor to WA1 Resources in Australia, contributing his expertise to the development of their world-class niobium discovery.

Gustavo holds a postgraduate degree in finance from Fundação Dom Cabral and a bachelor’s in business administration with a focus on international trade. He has furthered his education with executive programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD, focusing on leadership in the digital era and advanced industrial marketing strategies.
